nokLINK Central™ is designed as a single integrated web interface for managing all nokLINK components and the data generated within any supported 3rd party applications that provide alerting systems, reporting systems, email systems, hardware monitoring systems, help desks, and CRM systems.
The command console consists of these areas:
nokLINK™ - The nokLINK tab provides a means to create, edit, and distribute nokLINK settings and logs. This includes profiles for the nokLINK firewall and port settings.
nokLINK Agent TM - The nokLINK Agent tab includes all rule, event and command interface for managing computers remotely. Although there are remote management concepts for each product, nokLINK Agent is specific to managing computers, peripherals and 3rd party systems remotely via a common web interface.
nokLINK Audit TM - The nokLINK Audit tab includes summary information for all monitored devices, device profiles, add/remove and log monitoring.
3rd Party Plugins - The plug-ins tab provides all functionality related to 3rd party products including Remotely Anywhere, VNC, Image2Print and any 3rd party integrations like SNMP traps for device integration. Third party system may include alerting systems, reporting systems, email systems, hardware monitoring systems, help desks, and CRM systems.
nokLINK Central™ is ODBC compliant so as to ensure that all common data base engines are supported. nokLINK Central uses the same high performance, light-weight architecture as all nokLINK products. It automatically detects what products are installed on each nokLINK-enabled device to ensure all available functionality is enabled without complicated configuration commonly requirements by other systems.
nokLINK Central™ uses a flexible rules-based system for creating and managing data, devices, peripheral hardware and services that are managed with nokLINK. Rules are comprised of customizable actions and event triggers used to automate management of your devicest. The implementation of the underlying rules system is specific for each product to ensure that relevant functionality is available for each plug-in. As an example, rules for nokLINK Audit may be specific to file or network activity, whereas a rule set for nokLINK Agent may be specific to the distribution and installation of an application.
